Venus Just before her Win against Coco

Coco wins against No 7 in the World. Serena will play Johanna Konta No. 10 in the World!

Serena and Venus Williams are our local residents and Top Touring Tennis Professionals here in Palm Beach, Florida. Serena a great Tennis champion has been doing well at the Australian Open as has her sister. Serena has won the quarterfinals at the Australian Open beating Barbara Strycova ranked 16. Serena will face Johanna Konta next. Miss Konta was 150 in 2014, she Rose to 47 in 2015, and a ranking coming into the Aussie open is 10. Very steady rise. She is from Great Britain and have not heard a great deal about her, coming on strong in a short time frame.. She is a steady player and seems very fit. Of course when Serena is on, she is Unstoppable. It oughta be a great match. Serena has been 309 weeks at no. 1. She began her reign in 2002. It is 2017. Her No. 1 spot is on again / off again but she has been there at times an unheard of 15 years. Crazy. Heading into the open she will play Great Britons Ms. Johanna Konta. She is a rising player, young, energetic, and hungry. We shall see.

Another American Coco Vandeweghe is vying for the Womans’ Singles crown in Australia. Originally from NEW YORK CITY, NY. She now resides in RANCHO SANTA FE, CA, USA. 6 feet 1 inch Coco will play Garbiñe Muguruza (ESP) ranked No. 7. Coco is ranked 35 and Konta is 10 in the world. Both of these ladies Ms. Vandeweghe. and Ms. Konta have risen dramatically in the last couple of years rankings. This ought to be a great match. Coco is an aggressive player. Garbiñe's style is hard hitting. A bit inconsistent with her serve. Like Serena and Coco when they are on, they are on….Many of the girls in the finals are tall. Konta 5’11” style who will play Serena who has a good serve, consistent, and hits her groundies deep. A good combo. Serena will have to keep calm and carry on in the American tradition. Play her game.

Coco and Garbine just played in Australia. Coco won the first set in a fight. She won the match. This win is “Yuge” as The Donald, our president, would say. Coco is making her move. The Prediction tonight is a win for Ms. Vandeweghe (35) against the No. 7 in the world Garbine Muguruza. and so it was 6-4, 6-0 final.... Keep an eye out. Coco won against the No. 1 in the world and the No. 7 in the world. Quite a feat for the 35th ranked woman in the world.  In other womans matches Venus won today against A. Pavlyuchenkova(RUS) [24]. Serena will play Johanna on Tuesday. Much anticipated. Things are heating up and the American women are Hot! Thanks for reading....Coach Anderson
