The Australian Open is under way and it is very interesting. The women look good and close.

Madison Keys is doing well. She has a real chance at making history. 17 years old. She is looking good in her game. Hitting deep balls and really making a go of it. She is from Rockville Illinois and is really showing she can hang with the Big girls.

Maria Sharapova has won easily in her first two matches but she faces Venus in the next round and will have a tough go of it. Our Local Girl Venus Williams has won easily in her first round.

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are missing Rafa. He will return in February in Brazil at the Open there. He is definitely missed in Australia. Was hoping he would be in the Open in Australia. Djokovic has won easily. the rest of the pack is pretty close.
