French Open 2013 2nd Round Matches Early Rounds

Grigor Dimitrov put 13 aces past Novak Djokovic in Madrid but knows it will be harder this time

Hey Folks, Weather here in Palm Beach and in Paris has been a factor. Rain is delaying play in both places. Just discovered Spotify and it is really great to discover music and listen to music you love. Listening right now while writing this post.
Rain at The French Open

Well it looks like Rafa is the favorite but Djokovic and Fed could upset the apple pastries in the City of Love. Watched part of Wimbledon, the movie, and it was neat to see a story about an unknown come up in a wild card spot and win. Of course this does not happen very often. Saw a new Frenchman journeyman Pouille (19) play today. He is very good and was entered as a wild card but was not able to match Grigor Dimitrov (22) after rain delay final score of three sets 6-1, 7-6 (7/4), 6-1.The tie breaker was the turning point but Pouille showed promise up until the defeat in the tiebreaker. He even looks a bit like the character in the Movie Wimbledon. Hope we see more of him. Grigor is looking good from the guy who nickname is G-force won today and has beaten Djokovic recently at the Madrid Open. He is said to be dating Sharapove. Rumor. Too bad Murray is injured. Hope he heals quickly.

Our own Serena looks unstoppable. Nice to see Jamie Hampton win. Hope she can tough it out. 10 women players in the 2nd Round from the USA. Bethanie Mattek Sands had a big win today against Li Na. She is a little firecracker. Bethanie trained here in Palm Beach County. Her consistency, match toughness, and fitness has gone up in the last few years. Sorry to see Venus out, she had a marathon match and lost. Hope she recovers soon.

There is some very good tennis from some great players in the rankings and some new to the Big 4 scene (Wimbledon, US Open, Australian Open, and The French Open). Nice to see new faces and the big guns returning and thrashing it out at The French. Prize money this year at the French is
