Upsets, Injuries, and who is still Standing.....Wimbledon

Hey Folks, well a lot has happened in just a few days. Tsonga is out, Federer is out, Sharapova is splayed (out). Murray is in, Djokovich is in, and Serena is going the distance. Azaranka was injured and out. I am sure the Brits would enjoy Mr. Murray being the champion. It could happen except Mr. Djokovich is playing extremely well. It could be interesting to see if any of the upset competitors will last to the end.

There has been a lot of talk about the conditions being a bit wet and slippery. Of course the ball moves quickly on the grass and does not bounce the same. It skids. The surface is suited to the serve and volley game. That is exactly what Sergiy Stakhovsky did to the Swiss watch Roger Federer. Sergiy said he had to play the legend and the man. He played both equally well and wish him great success in his upcoming match against Jurgen Melzer on Friday in his first Wimbledon third round. I hope for Mr. Nadal to come back to the game in good health. His knees did not look good.

Michelle Larcher De Brito of Portugal is to play Karin Knapp from Italy. We will see if she can capture the chair when the music stops. Interesting times. Lots of surprises.

Bob and Mike Bryan celebrate after defeating Michael Llodra and Aarnaud Clement in the third round.

Bob and Mike Bryan USA No. 1 Doubles in the world will play Marcello Demonliner and Andre Sa of Brazil. They ought to win but with all these upsets we shall see. The Bryan Brothers are going for their 14th Major. Hope the best for the US Champions. The Majors are French Open just outside of Paris in France, Wimbledon Outside of London England, US Open Flushing Meadows just outside of New York, New York, and Australian Open, Melbourne Australia. With the Sony Ericson in Key Biscayne said to be the 5th Major. The Bryan Brothers have won all of these. Pretty amazing. They just won the French.
